Discord Verification

You already have an account in this server
You already have an account verified with Double Counter
Why This Happens:
Once an account is verified, it cannot be changed or removed in the database.
Alt detection is permanent — if you're flagged, it cannot be undone.
Global Detections are enabled for most servers — If you were detected as an alt in one server, - you will most likely be detected as an alt in every other server as well.
You may be flagged as an alt because:
You shared an IP address with someone else
You used someone else's verification link
You used the same device as another user
If your original verified account is no longer usable (e.g., lost access, got banned, hacked, locked, or deleted), you won’t be able to reverify in servers that use Double Counter.
Double Counter cannot reset or remove your verification. Only the server you're trying to join can decide whether to let you in.
Solution:
You must contact that specific server’s staff.
Use their ticket system or DMs, if available.
If you're unable to reach them, or they don’t offer a way to contact staff, then you won’t be able to join the server.
Double Counter cannot/will not:
Override the alt detection
Contact the server for you
Manually verify you
Issue: You received a message saying:
You have been blocked for using a VPN
You're using a VPN
VPN are not allowed in this server
Why This Happens:
You tried to verify while connected to a service that hides your real IP address, such as: A VPN
BitTorrent services
A CDN (Content Delivery Network)
Any tool that masks or hides your real connection
Even if you’re not using a VPN, some things might still trigger this:
Ad-blockers — Try temporarily disabling them.
Apple Device Users
Turn off the following settings:
Go to Settings → Safari → Hide IP → Turn Off
Go to Apple ID → iCloud → Private Relay → Turn Off
Privacy-focused browsers (Opera, Brave, etc.) — Try using a standard browser like Chrome or Edge.
Your ISP (Internet Provider) — Some ISPs use shared IPs or proxy connections that might get flagged.
Check your connection’s ASN at .
"Crawlers Are Not Allowed" Error You might see this error during verification for several reasons:
Using Discord's in-app browser (on iOS/Android) — Use your default browser instead (like Edge or Chrome)
Cloudflare WARP or similar DNS tools — These may apply a VPN-like profile. Disable them and try again.
Browser extensions or proxies — Turn off any that modify your browser’s behavior.
Solution: If none of the above works:
Contact the server's support team, not Double Counter.
Most servers have a ticket system — start there.
Some servers may choose to verify you manually, but it's not guaranteed.
Double Counter cannot contact other servers for you or verify you manually. If you can't reach the server’s staff, you won’t be able to join.
Under most circumstances, it is entirely up to the decision of the server you are wanting to join to either manually verify you in their server, or have you sort out your issue on your own

ISSUE:
You repeatedly attempted to verify in a server, despite receiving failed attempt notifications.
INFORMATION:
There are a few ways you can encounter this issue. Please continue reading for more information.
Possible Reason #1 — Alt Detections
You have been flagged/marked as an alt account too many times. Your account will be unable to verify in any server. Use the original account you used to verify with. No amount of account resets is going to fix this. Detections are permanent.
Possible Reason #2 — VPN Intrusions
You tried to verify too many times using an active Virtual Private Network (VPN) or being repeatedly flagged for using a VPN. In most cases, the use of ad blockers is the main reason for such issues. We suggest that you check your browser's add-ons or settings to make sure that any ad blockers are disabled while trying to verify.
Possible Reason #3 — Verification Timed Out
You made too many attempts to verify because you did not complete the verification process within the allowed time frame. When you receive a direct message (DM) or ephemeral response from the bot, you will have a default time limit of 2 minutes to finish the verification process. Each new attempt to verify requires you to use the latest DM or ephemeral response provided by Double Counter.
Possible Reason #4 — Incorrect Settings
You've maxed out your attempts because your DM from the bot was blank. As you're able to see this message, you have since corrected the issue.
Verification Link Expired
If you received a DM upon joining the server you're trying to verify in, leave the server, wait a moment, then rejoin. Links usually expire after 2 minutes.
Wash, rinse, and repeat.
Each time you attempt to verify, ensure you are using a new link from a new verification message. Attempting to reuse verification links will result in their expiration.
If you were presented with a verification button or instructed to use the /verify command:
Wait 2 minutes in between attempts, do not spam the button/command
If the server has adjusted the timeout for the link incorrectly, this has caused it to expire immediately. There is nothing Double Counter can do about this.
